IF GOD IS LOVING, WHY DOESN'T |
|
Stop wars. Stop murder. Stop rape. Stop abortion. God stop it all. Do
you really want God to wipe out all evil? Right now? If God, in His
Holiness, was to remove every trace of evil from creation, he would
have to include our lies, our cheating, our impure thoughts, our
failure to do good -- us. If God was to destroy everything evil in an
hour's time, who of us would still be here? The fact is, most people
only want God to stop evil they see in others, or that affects them,
their family or friends, or the cute child on TV. God's plan of
salvation is a far better way. He saves you, he makes new you, he
changes you over time. One day all evil will be eradicated for good.
Only what is made new in Christ will remain. "It is of the
LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions
never fail." (Lamentations 3:22) |
